Week 7 Work

Talofa today I am going to be telling you about my work.
This week we have been doing math. Mr Mitchell told us about time series data. Kareem answered Mr Mitchell's question and he said it was a timeline, then he got it right so he got a prize. Mr Mitchell looked on the weather and it was all low but on friday it was 18 degrees. So he said that we had to do a time series on the weather. We only had 15 minutes to finish it. Everyone said it was easy and we finished earlier than Mr Mitchell thought. He was so proud of us.

Here is a photo of our work

Thank you for reading. See you next time bye

Making flowers out of clay

Hola, today I am going to be telling you about our class has been making clay flowers. I hope you like it.

Miss Scott gave  us clay to make our flowers. Some people had to start yesterday because they
weren't  here. It was so difficult to soften it out because it was hard. Miss Scott said that we could look up how to make a clay flower on the internet. It was so hard to soften it out, we had to use a ruler to flatten it down. We had to come up with heaps of ideas. Then this morning one of the teachers had to take it and bake it. Then we have to paint them and on Saturday take them to Riccarton High School.

Here are some photos.

Canterbury Swim School

Malo e leilei today I am going to be talking about Canterbury Swim School. Hope you enjoy it.

My teacher at  Canterbury swim school was Ricardo. He helped me a lot and he also let us jump of the board and swim back to the end. He had a challenge for us, the challenge was to find 3 things that will help someone get out of the pool hen they are drowning. We could only grab 3 things, we had to do an example of what we used. In my group I had Freya, Felice, Angus, Lennox, Nevaeh, Jacob, Sean and Vilar. We all learned new things and different things that we all didn't know.

Here are some photos from swimming.

Descriptive writing

Talofa welcome back to my blog. Today i am going to be talking to you about The descriptive writing. I hope you enjoy.

For the past few weeks we have been doing descriptive writing. We have been working on 3 but my favourite one would have to be my mountain one.I hope you like my writing.

Here is the photo we were writing about

I was in the forest, with a lot of big mountains and a big river. The weather was beautiful and the skies were cyan blue. There was smooth grass on the mountains.

I started to walk up the mountains and it was bumpy. The mountains were clear to see. They were so pointy, it looked like a rough pyramid.

The flowers were beautiful, they were bright yellow and some were white. The bushes were greenish and purple. The frozen snow on the mountains were melting like Ice Cream.

I felt the warm breeze come through my face, as I lie down on the grass and relax. The trees were swaying like crazy and I could feel the light wind coming through my mouth.

Be free to comment on my blog and I will see you next time. Bye
