Acrostics poem

This week we have been doing poetry. We have done 7 poems in total.  Hope you enjoy


An Acrostic poem is where you write the topic downwards and write something about the topic that starts with each letter.The Takahe had to do 2 words but the other groups only did one and she said that we could add pictures if we wanted too. I wanted to keep mine simple and the same theme.

Room 7's Assembly

Talofa welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be telling you about Room 7's Assembly. Everyone came extra early so they can practice their lines. I was so helpful and helped Miss Scott do everything like get the kete cards and other things. When we got there the presenters had to go up to the stage and the rest of the class had to sit in our normal spot. First Jaedun welcomed everyone then we did the National Anthem. Their was lots of videos like the 2 dances and screencastify.  Miss Scott said that we did so good.

Haiku writing

Talofa welcome back to my blog today I am going to be talking about doing poetry. This week we are doing haiku writing. I hope you like it. 

In class we have been doing lots of poetry and this week we did Haiku writing. The categories were Friends,Winter, and Sports. For friends I did Michaela for sports I did Netball because it is my favourite sport.

Zones

Talofa welcome back to my blog today I am going to be talking about zones. Hope you like it .

Last week on Monday the Diamonds Netball team went to zones. In our team there was  Alyssa,Michaeala,Mea,Finau,Susie,Talisa,Nevaeh S,Nevaeh T,Temera,Tori. At fruit time we had to eat something decent and go to the toilet before we go on the bus. Everyone that went to zones they had to go to their coaches and count how many people were here. In our team we were missing one more girl but she was in Samoa.We were all excited to go to zones. When we got to hagley park the bus driver droped us off where the soccer and rugby was and we had to walk all the way to the netball courts which that was on the other side. So it took us a while to get there and we were already tired. When we got to the netball courts we had a little training session to get ready to play. The first team we versed was Ilam tui. We won 5-0.We played 8 or 7 games. We also did the friendly games and I didn't play because I twisted my ankle.I was so disappointed that I could not play for the friendly games.We won and our games and our scores all together with all our games was 20 which meant we are going to centrals. We were all so happy that we made it to centrals.
