Last week Netball

Hello welcome back to my blog today I am going to be talking about our game last week.Hope you like it.

Last week we had  a Netball game. The  team we versed was South Hornby school Magic. We versed a hard team so it was challenging. There was one tall girl and she was really good defending. But the HPS diamonds won. The scores were 16-2 and Michaela  got player of the for doing her personal best in the game.

Miss McDonald is leaving

Talofa today Miss McDonald is leaving us. But today we have a surprise for her during the day. We are all going to miss her even though she is coming back to visit us. She is loving, helpful and when she comes to school she looks beautiful everyday. There is a thousand things I like about her and I am going to miss her.

ASB get wise

Talofa lava. On Wednesday the ASB get wise lady came to our school. Her name was Amy. The first thing we did was talking about money. Afterwards we played a game but it was a walking game because we  had sat down for quite a long time, so we got to have a stretch. Amy was drawing stick people and we had to get into groups of 5 or 4. In our group was Sophia ,Temera, Michaela, Nevaeh and Freya. After we found our group we had to decided out groups name. Our group name was Elizabeth. There were other team names like Rocky, Jiggle, Bannaman and Fortnite. The challenge was to earn lots of money. Our team  had $9 dollars and Team Rocky had $9 dollars so we had a  paper scissors rock game and Michaela  and Kody had to do do paper scissors rock and Michaela won so our team won. We were so happy.!We got a photo with the $100 dollars.

We had so much fun and we all want to do it again

cha cha slide

 Talofa lava this week the Takahe  reading group have been working on tasks. This weeks task was to either know the dance or do a flow chart. Me,Venice,Talisa,Freya and Michaela. We deiced to do the dance.We did the dance with  all the girls in the Takahe reading group . It was really cool. Angus was the camera man.

samoan language week

Talofa welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be talking about Samoan language week. I hope you like it.

This week it is Samoan language week and a lot of students have a special outfit for Samoan language week. Next week the Pasifika group are performing a dance for Samoan language week. My friend was Tongan (on the left) but she still wore hers. And it was beautiful. Me and my friends wore our special outfit. I was wearing yellow and Finau was wearing turquoise and Christina was wearing a kinda purple and pink mixed to together. We went around and showed the teachers and they said that we looked beautiful.

Winter sports netball

 Talofa.
Last Friday the Diamonds had there first winter sports game. The team we versed was Wigram Stars. Our game was at 1:50pm so we trained for a little bit before we got on the court. We only had 6 players on the court and the rest of them stayed subbed. For our first game I was centre with Alyssa.  The score was 0-24 and we won on our first game.

Good bye

All the year 6's go to the High school

Talofa welcome back to my blog. Today we are going to be talking about when the year 6's went to the High School yesterday.

On Tuesday the year 6's went to the high school. We had to eat a little bit early so we could go to the high school. We had to get into 2 groups, Miss D had a piece of paper with all of our names on it. I was in group 2. We had to walk over to the high school, and when we got in their gym it was humongous. We had a lot of rotations.We also got to see our old friends that were there. Right After our last rotation we went to play a game called dodge ball rush. It was so much fun. Afterwards Mr Scott came in with a bag full of ice blocks. We wanted to open it but we were not allowed to open it until we got outside.

We all had so much fun at the high school and there was a lot of cool stuff to do there.
