Samoan Language Week

Talofa welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be telling you facts about samoa.

This week is samoan language week. Miss Taylor said that we had to draw a samona picture like a flower and sea animals and more.I did a sea turtle.Today we watched videos about samoan dances and games and more.Today I am going to be talking about samoan arts and tattoos.Every samona has a tattoos. Women that are 21 they have to get a malu. A malu is a women tattoo that every women gets. Like if you are 20 you would have to get a malu because it means that you are finally becoming a women.

In samoa they don't use tattoo gun they use a stick that they made and ink. Some tattoo places do have a tattoo gun but if you were going to do a malu you would have to use a hard stick and ink. Every women has to say a prayer and drink a special drink after they finish there tattoo and also do a dance. In some tattoos they have stories and symbols.


The difference between new zealand and samoa is that samoa they have to stay in the heat and some houses don't have fans. New Zealand does plant they foods and so do samoa.Samoas electricity, they don't really have much electricity. They use flashlights and lamps to use for when it is dark.

My Lockdown Baking

Talofa welcome back my blog. Today I am going be telling you about my lockdown baking.

I went to the shops and I brought a box of cake but I have to make it by myself. I had to get eggs because we had no eggs at home.We went home and sanitized the table ad also washed my hands. I grabbed a clean bowl and put the flour in. Then I added the other ingredients to the bowl. We put the mix in the  cake pan, it was kinda thick because we missed a step. We had to take out the cake batter out of the cake pan, we really couldn't get some of the cake mix out but it was ok.So we quickly added the water and started mixing. Then we put it in the oven.


We waited when we brought it out the edges were burnt i was kinda sad but sometimes when you cook you fail.We had chocolate icing that we didn't have to make, we only had to heat it up in the microwave. The frosting was so nice i just wanted to eat the whole thing.(i actually did eat the whole frosting). The cake was so good but i had to cut the edges.

My Strengths

Talofa welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be telling you about my strength.

Miss Taylor gave us piece of paper. We had to ask a friend what is our strength, we only had to pick five.My five strengths are Bravery,Creativity,Kindness,Teamwork and Love.We also had to do a poster about our five words that we picked. The choices to do our poster was Piktochart and Paper.
